Confirmation of your Booking

We will send you a confirmation of your booking, detailing the total cost of your reservation on receipt of the required deposit. One month prior to your arrival the outstanding balance of your booking is required.

If your arrival date is one month or less from your booking date, we shall require the full invoice total at the time of booking.

Arrival and Departure

The Cottage is available from 2pm on the arrival date. You are requested to vacate by 10:30am on the day of departure.

Payment

When you book you will be required to pay a deposit of £100. The balance is due one month prior to the commencement of your stay.

Cancellation and Amendments

If for any reason you find it necessary to cancel your booking, you should contact us immediately. The following is the scale of cancellation charges payable:

More than 30 days deposit only
15 – 30 days before arrival date 50% of total accommodation charges
1 – 14 days before arrival date 70% of total accommodation charge
On or after arrival date 100% of total accommodation charge.

Cancellation or alteration by us

All our bookings are planned very carefully but in the highly unlikely circumstances that it may be necessary to amend or cancel bookings made by you we reserve the right to make changes necessary or to cancel the booking. If we cancel or make major change to your booking you will be free to a) accept a new holiday arrangement offered by us b) cancel your holiday with us altogether and receive a full refund of all monies paid.

Holiday Insurance

We strongly advise that you should take out insurance to cover the cost of cancellation and to cover other risks.

If you have a problem whilst on your holidays at The Cottage at Great East Standen Manor, please bring it to the attention of the owners so we can endeavour to resolve it quickly.
